A lot of people seem to have trouble accepting gifts where send via the personal send requests. For some reason it does work for me :) Just especially for someone from the Chat on FarmVille Chicken:
I have made one request to test and I have unbelievable nice friends since a minute later zillions of gold bars popped up:
I accepted just the top part of it (could do this all night and don't want to) and clicked 18 accepts, then I logged into FarmVille and saw my 18 gold bars in the giftbox:
So situation before: 105 gold received:

What link did you use?
I'm able to send gifts and receive gifts. It's accepting them that is the problem. When I accept, they simply just vanish. I get no gift, the request goes away like it was never there. I can only accept the gifts that my friends send me.
