So.. how do we like the new baby turtles? They are pretty rare lost animals and… almost everyone likes it so it seems. They take 3 days .… (well it is a turtle of course) to produce something with a value of 86 (at least by googling the internet).

I noticed that when I rotate him/her that he/she disappears and more people have this problem (maybe it has to be this way). I already lost 1 turtle: I just moved it, then it disappeared and … I never found it back!

I also noticed that you can't pet it, which would be weird indeed, a jumping tortoise (someone on the forum notes it is a tortoise not a turtle).

15 inspirational level 30 farms

While I was surfing all those beautiful FarmVille neighbor Farms I took some snapshots of "level 30 farms" don't ask me why but it seemed like a nice thing to do for inspiration:

	1. People are requesting all kind of country flags but a cool female pirate flag (maybe for talk like a pirate day) is also cool, at Beth's farm
	2. A nice long road where your avatar can stroll along at Khmer's Farm (See comments) (Khmer is now on level 34)
	3. Idem but now.. a duck road :) at the farm of Jayden
	4. A cozy corner at Michael's Farm
	5. A clear message at Flavio's Farm
	6. A nice park with a water place for the Swans at Raisa's Farm
	7. Something else than the straight lines or blue hay bale rivers at Duncan's Farm
	8. A nice flowerbed next to a golden gnome at Tushar's Farm
	9. I wonder when they are going to lift of off? At Eti
	10. Wondeful heights and VERY cool high road at William

An unbelievable amount of questions around the new fertilizer feature (and the crop whisperer ribbon) were asked… mostly: when do i get it :)

But… it's here for everyone now, as can be seen on my land since there is almost no crop … not fertilized LOL… will we ever see a non fertilized land again?

So how does it work?

	1. You go to the land of a neighbor, and it asks you to help him with something. That will give you 20 coins and 5 XP for the first 20 neighbors and 5 coins and 1 XP for the next neighbors. (note that I believe that sometimes you get 40 coins but I don't know when)
	2. After that it asks you if you want to fertilize the crops of that person (and you see in the bottom left corner the five fertilizer bags) (if there is nothing to fertilize on the land it will show nothing)
	3. When you now hover over crops of the neighbor you can fertilize it. You see the "super grow" icon when it is possible and you do not see the "super grow" icon when it is not possible (e.g. crops are already 100% or someone else already fertilized it)
	4. Your avatar will now fertilize the lands. You receive 1 XP for +4 coins for each land you fertilize (on top of the bonus you get for just helping your neighbor) After the help you receive a message to come back to tomorrow for more help. The fertilized lands will now sparkle and produce super large crops with more income for your neighbor.
	5. And your Crop Whisperer Ribbon will indicate you have now 5 extra crops fertilized
	6. After 100 fertilized Crops you get the yellow ribbon for the Crop Whisperer (with 25 XP and 500 Coins Extra) Now you need 400 more for your White ribbon:
	7. And working yourself through a number of out of sync messages…
	8. After 400+100 Crops you get the white ribbon for the Crop Whisperer. You get 50 XP and 1000 coins as a Reward. Now you need 500 more to get to the Red Ribbon:
	9. After 500 more fertilized Crops you get the red ribbon for the Crop Whisperer (and 100 XP and 2000 extra coins). We now need "only" 4000 more for the final blue ribbon (that is at minimal 800 neighbor visits) 0" alt="image" src="http://almanac.farmvillechicken.com/files/2009/10/image230.png" width="244" height="243" />
	10. And after those 4000 fertilizations… we receive the blue ribbon and have completed the Crop Whisperer Ribbon!

So what is the nicest thing about this? Probably:

for users that they can see when neighbors visited your farm.
that more neighbors means a faster ribbon, more XP and more coins
that people really do visit their neighbors for inspiration and social interaction
that it is one more thing you can do while waiting for your next harvest / collect :)
