The Locked Box

deco lockedbox icon The Locked Box A few users got their hands on a locked mystery box, I will add it as mystery box 18. The users who found it while harvesting got the chance to get a secret code e-mailed. When using the code to unlock the box they retrieved items such as the totem pole, the mammoth statue and a set of consumables.

I have added it to the list of mystery boxes on the left. See the official thread / announcement by Channel Zero here.

Updates 24-02-2010: Hot Rod Vehicles, Californa and Yellowstone theme items!

First of all please note that you are now on almanac.farmvillechicken.com ! It's the new server! Get comfortable slowly:

http://almanac.farmvillechicken.com = contains exactly the same content as the old site. The older postings have not yet the links adjusted internally and I notice the decoration reports dont load (because they take too much memory to list i think) maybe some other stuff working on it. I see I also turned around 2 seed revenue/profit reports. Will fix it.

http://farmvillechicken.com is the mother domain and allows you to:

- start your own blog! the advantage is that there is a huge crowd already visiting so people will definitely visit your farmville blog where you can show of your farm, give us tips and so on. Soon we will add some themes to it.
- start groups/forums or join existing: mingle and make friends and neighbors for all those necessary tips and inside information
- chat! I know its deeply hidden but in the bottom bar, when you click: this icon and then choose a chatroom you can chat with the mostly 100 people floating around the site. The online number is per domain or subdomain so you know who is visiting where.

And now over to the updates:

	Even more additions to the New Yellowstone and California theme today!
	2 pretty cool new buildings: - the Vacation Home (8x7 !) - the Deluxe Lodge (13x10 !)
	This animal … another deer kind, I think I can make a separate section for it now :) The Elk
	Funny, we have 2 other items that we had in snow and which we can now get… without the snow :) Yellowstone decorations: - Flourishing Birch , I also have the other one! - Old Faithful , a geyser - Proud Goat : a goat on a rock - Large Boulder , uhm… ya - Petrified Wood for the wood collection California decorations: - CA redwood , aha! We can now also collect the non snowy one - FarmVille Sign - Golden Trout , a fish trophy
	And the more Olympic fun with…. Ice Hockey!
	And… probably also hot news today: We got a followup on the Hot Rod Vehicle Series: Both the Hot Rod Seeder AND the Hot Rod Harvester are now available with the same deal: you need to have a certain level on Mafia Wars to get them for Coins or otherwise you need to pay FV!
	I think we now get a whole follow-up of picket fences :) We can now gift the wood picket fence (farmville.com exclusive) and a Fuchisa Greenery and (exclusive) a Pink Greenery And… a special mystery box came on sunday 28 feb 2010.

Today we had a wednesday update with a NEW mystery box and new additions to the NEW California themed Limited Edition items! (also thanks to the FarmVille Updates Forum) :

	The California theme brings us 2 new animals: - the Bear Club (a 1x1 cute little one, do you think the big one is also coming?) (p.s. this is now the 3rd BEST animal in the game for revenue) and the - Valley Quail (which shares the same properties as the gooses and the Turkeys)
As well as 2 new seeds! - the White Grapes and the - Golden Poppies
The Lunar Celebration bring us 2 new cool affordable lanterns! Everyone should get them :) The - Tiger Lantern (cool one!) - The Red Lantern (!)

There is also a new FarmVille GUI, it looks uhm… I think personally not so nice as the previous one but uhm not everyone has taste :) But this theme probably integrates better with the other themes.
- the gift limit has been raised to 50 , cool that makes it somewhat easier to process these dozens of requests :)

Always on 80% FarmVille Progressbar

I don't know about you, but my progress bar is pretty much always on 80% when it starts. For some reason it never remembers that I have become a fan a million times.
