Ok… the following is a draft of the workings of the Chicken Coop. I got some information from FarmViller, some from the forums, some from the network, so this is not the final version yet. I heard rumors of a penguin also being in the game here. So if you have any conformation on that: cool!
If you have any updates, corrections, etc… please add it in the comments so I can sort-of start my way into finalizing this poster. I'm sure it's not correct yet but hey… it's a start.

fantastic chart! I found a brown egg harvesting my 3 brown/rest white chicken coop.... from what I heard, 2 black chickens at minimum were found :)

well they appear more uncommonly than white premium eggs a trick is to have a lot of chickens that aren't in a coop, and when you harvest your coop already, and you see chickens that are ready to harvest, remove every single chcicken from the coop and add one chicken thats ready to havest in the cool, making the coop harvestable, and then add every chicken you took out back into the coop for increasing your chances for a brown mystery egg, and it's a way to get more money lol

I tried the technique mentioned here, by removing all the chickens from the coop when they were ready to harvest and then put them back to increase my chances for a mystery egg......unfortunately when I removed them they all went back to being 0% ready, so in my opinion this cheat does not work any more :-(

I added a ready brown egg to the empty coop, then added a non ready black chicken and got a golden egg. For my next attempt in the empty coop I put in a ready white chicken and added a non ready gold chicken and got a gold egg, so both of these methods work. Hope this helps those of you who are trying.

So here's the big question....why if you have to spend farmville dollars to buy the colored chickens do you not get to reap the reward of the mystery eggs yourself? I'm baffled by that. Do they expect that everyone playing will be finding eggs from other players and get their value of their purchased chickens?
