Several weblogs like FarmVilleMania, FarmVilleFreak and the forums are reporting on the by know very well known bug that let you have a lot of free cows to fill your dairy farms.
Since it is a bug in the game we won't publish the details here but you can head out there to read it if you are interested. Personally we think you should not exploit known bugs and certainly not communicate them to the wide world. You can report bugs here.
Compare it to finding out a trick to hack a vending machine: by using a combination of buttons you can get the complete contents of the vending machine. What we would do is inform the owner of the vending machine and then keep quiet about it.

Personally, I sell all my white and brown cows, because I don't have room for them in the barns. If a feature isn't written by the creators of the game, it is cheating if one uses it. If a feature allows a person to use it and get ahead faster, that is allowed by the creators of the game and is part of the strategy of the game. Cheating is always cheating.
