The FarmVilleMania weblog had a good find: the intro text to the penguin says it comes from the north pole, however… it comes from Antarctica… a difference of 20.000 kilometers …. (!)
"Penguins (order Sphenisciformes, family Spheniscidae) are a group of aquatic, flightless birds living almost exclusively in the southern hemisphere, especially in Antarctica."
Hey Edward, I noticed you removed the [warning: spoilers] from the wrong site. You took it off freaks and left it on ours (fanatic). I was just hoping you could put it back on freaks as well now since it makes us look like we are the only ones with spoilers. lolI asked you to remove it when we took them down, but we are now externally linking to farmviller's unreleased, so you can keep it up now. Also, I had no clue penguins didn't exist in the North Poll, learn something every day. =P
Those of us that live in the Southern Hemisphere and can easily see Penguins in their natural habitat - ie Fairy Penguins along the south coast of Australia have always known this. its never a sprise that they are often depicted as coming from the North Pole. The most northerly point they exist naturally is the Galapagos Islands which are on the equator
