Well.. it is finally here, the Dairy Farm Extensions. We can now grow our Dairy Farm from 20 to 30 to 40 (you have to do this for each Dairy Farm you have) … but uhm… welll…. :

ow… :( (But the above message is misleading since you WILL get the 20 additional cow storage per Dairy Farm!)

The handy thing: you only have to press "upgrade once" and it will auto update to 3 stars, so you do not have to update first to 2 stars and then to 3 stars :). It WILL however give you 2 times the "share" option (so I think that if you have 5 dairy farms that you will get 10 times this popup…)

You can share this also:

And… tada:

Well… let's go look for an additional 40 cows to place in here :)

Does the dairy Farm count for the Zoologist Ribbon?

The dairy Farm holds 20 cows and you can collect from all of them at once using the building. But… does it actually count as 20 individual collects?

Let's test it:

This is the current amount to get: 624 to go.

Let's Collect the milk of one Dairy Farm.

And… 20 less to go.. so the answer is: Yes!

(00:05) Hey Farmers, I would like to welcome you all to the first ever official FarmVille podcast. My name is lexilicious and I am the FarmVille community manager I am sure a lot of you guys have seen me lurking around the FarmVille Forums, maybe I have talked to a couple of you guys on Twitter. Im going to be bringing these podcasts to you on a weekly basis and Im going to be over the new features that been released in Farmville. Ill also be giving some tips and tricks to some of our newer users, but I think the coolest part about this podcast is im going to be giving you guys a sneak peak of some of the things that are gonna be coming your way soon. So lets go ahead and get this show on the road!

(00:40) This week was a very exciting week for FarmVille. We saw the addition of lots of really big new features. I think the most popular addition has been our new dairy farm. For user who may not be familiar with this new feature: the dairy farm is our first "building that matters". Up until this new release, buildings did not have much of a purpose beyond making our users farms look cool and providing a decent amount of experience points when purchased. Dairy farms allow players to place up to 20 cows in the mid one time and milk them all with one click every 24 hours. I'm sure you guys can see how useful this new feature must be for some of our players who may have accumulated tons of cows on their farms since the release of FarmVille. Now you guys dont have to worry about having to turn away that lonely pink cow when she wanders on your farm looking for a new home.
Our next big feature this week was the addition of flowers. Flowers have been one of the most requested features from members of our community over the last few months. The great thing about this new feature is that they are not a decoration. Flowers are a harvestable crop. Daffodils, Tulips, Roses, Lavender and Lillies can now all be purchased from the market. And since these are harvestable that means you are able to reap the rewards from mastering all of these new crops.
And finally new limited edition Halloween items were added this week. There is a new gift able gravestone, a new ghost chilly crop, which is a 6 hours crops by the way for anybody who wants to know, and the new spooky bats and scaredycrow can now be purchased from the market. So… now there is no excuse for you guys for not having the spookiest farm around.

(02:24) So, to really celebrate the spirit of Halloween, we have some awesome new events for you guys this week. The first one I want to talk about is the Halloween decorating contest, now, this contest is actually pretty simple: basically I want you guys to submit pictures of your Halloween farms on the official FarmVille forums. The FarmVille team will be selecting our 10 favorite farms and the winners will be receiving 500 Farm Cash and 500.000 coins. I mean how awesome is that guys? Come on, get out there, take a picture of your farm and you could be one of our winners. Now, for user who may not want to decorate their farms but still want to celebrate Halloween a little bit we have a Halloween costume contest. This event is also supersimple to participate in: all you have to do is dress up in your Halloween costume and no it does not need to be FarmVille theme and post a picture of it up on the official FarmVille forums. The FarmVille team will be picking our top ten winners based off of effort, originality, presentation, so make sure you are creative guys, we love to see unique and weird, creepy costumes and the good news is: the winners of this event will also receive 500 Farm Cash and 500.000 coins. If you guys would like to see more details on these events or any of the new features that have just been released please make sure to check out the new website which is www.farmville.com.

(03:57) Now, I believe that takes us to the part of the podcast you have been waiting for. It's time for a sneak peak to what is coming to FarmVille soon. Well its always good to start with a bang. So for our very first podcast I have some news I'm pretty sure most of you will be be absolutely thrilled about. LAND EXPANSION IS COMING your way very soon. Now I know you guys are wanna gonna kill me but unfortunately I cant give you the exact dates as to when more land will be released but i can assure you that you will see it in the very near future. So make sure to keep your eyes peeled for that one guys. I'm also very excited to tell you guys that due to the enormous popularity of the dairy farm that we will be releasing even more buildings that matter in the future. Keep on the lookout for those. And with any new future we always love hearing from you guys. Your feedback is what helps us understand what our community is looking for and how we can work to keep FarmVille a game you guys wanna keep coming back to.  So again, if you have any comments or opinions you want to share about FarmVille please check out the official FarmVille forums or take a peek at www.farmville.com.

(05:12) Now, I believe its time for our tip of the week. For our brand new users, neighbors might be something of a foreign subject. I see farm all the time users asking the question: why should I have neighbors. Well there are actually tons of benefits to having neighbors that can help you progress quicker in FarmVille. Assisting neighbors with daily chores, like raking leaves, chasing crows or pulling weeds will provide you with valuable experience points and coins. Neighbors can also send you animals and trees as gifts that you normally would have to purchase from the market yourself.

(05:47) Before we go ahead and wrap this broadcast up I wanna address one of the concerns I have been hearing from the community in the past few weeks. With all of these new features in the game users have been saying: why are you adding more features if we still have issues with the game. I just want to let you guys know that our developers are completely aware of all of the issues that are currently in beta and they are working as hard as they can to try and get these bugs fixed in a timely matter. All we are doing is we wanna make sure the FarmVille doesnt get stale for you guys while we try and fix these bugs. Uhm you know, just because we are releasing more content does not mean that we have abandoned fixing ongoing issues to FarmVille.

(06:32) Uhm… yeah, I think that's about it for this week, uhm, thank you guys very much for listening I will see you guys next week! Happy Farming everybody.
